About The Role

Join Dawn Health and be part of a team transforming mental health care from crisis management to a focus on mental wellness. Our clinical team of therapists and health and wellness coaches collaborates to enhance care for each child, integrating services with external professionals like pediatricians and psychiatrists. Your role will involve:

Delivering Exceptional Care: Use evidence-based methods to support adolescents (ages 6-17) and their parents, addressing concerns like exercise, nutrition, and sleep.

Personalized Coaching: Working always with both children and their parents to set and achieve health and wellness goals. This involves understanding each family’s unique needs, motivations, and challenges.

Creating Action Plans: Developing tailored action plans that focus on areas such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and overall lifestyle changes.

Behavioral Change Support: Utilizing evidence-based techniques to support families in making sustainable behavioral changes. This might include strategies for overcoming barriers and maintaining motivation.

Wellness Education: Providing education on various aspects of health and wellness, including the importance of balanced nutrition, regular exercise, mental health, and preventive healthcare.

Comprehensive Support: Engage with children, teens, and parents, collaborating with Dawn Health's team, schools, and community for holistic treatment. Document all activities accurately and promptly in our electronic health record.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the family’s assigned licensed therapist and ensure that all activities are aligned with the common family care progression goal.

Flexible Availability: Provide access to care around each family’s schedule, typically during the week from 4 PM to 8 PM (CST) and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM (CST).

Clinical Practice Guides: Follow the standards developed and meet the URAC expectation for provider-to-consumer interaction.

About You

As a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach at our organization, you'll be a key player in transforming the landscape of children's and families' health and wellness. We're looking for someone who embodies:

  • A fervent dedication to our mission of revolutionizing health and wellness care for children and their families.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the health and wellness field.
  • Expertise in child and teen-focused wellness strategies, particularly adept at addressing issues like anxiety and depression.
  • A background in family-centered wellness approaches, complemented by a warm and engaging interaction style.
  • A strong capability for quickly learning and effectively utilizing new technologies, especially those experienced in telehealth.
  • A driven attitude towards contributing to the growth of a pioneering start-up, showcasing resilience, adaptability, and an exemplary work ethic.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both in writing and speaking, with a talent for providing constructive feedback and fostering collaboration across diverse teams.

About You

As a Licensed Therapist at Dawn Health, you'll excel if you embody the following:

  • A deep commitment to our mission of transforming behavioral health care for children and their families.
  • Minimum of 3 years of independent practice as a Psy.D, LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or LMHC, without the need for supervision.
  • Proficiency in child and teen-focused CBT, especially in treating anxiety and depression.
  • Experience with family-centered care approaches paired with a warm and engaging clinical approach.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and using new technologies, with a preference for those experienced in telehealth.
  • Eagerness to contribute to the growth of a start-up, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to constructively share feedback and collaborate across teams.
